We moms need each other. Whether you are the mom of a newborn, a preschooler, or school-age children, no doubt you need a community of other moms who can help support you in the midst of the season you’re in and help prepare for the seasons yet to come!
Starry Eyed means looking for the light even when darkness is enveloping. It is an opportunity to hope recklessly and to witness God’s presence guiding things seen and unseen, comfortable and uncomfortable.
Seeing the light in the darkness and choosing to live courageously in both.
It is opening our eyes to wonder and choosing hope over fear.
Starry Eyed is significant acts of kindness that send ripples of light into the world.
It is a choice to live fully and wholly and to breathe our way back to life.
If you feel anxious and don’t know why …
If you are busy and distracted from the things you truly care about …
If you are restless for an unexpected encounter with God …
If you long to feel alive, to regain a sense of wonder, to hope a little freer and to be a powerful force of kindness in the world, then we’d love for you to join us in becoming Starry Eyed.
We are moms and we believe better moms make a better world.
What is MOPS? & MOMSnext?
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a dynamic, worldwide program designed to nurture mothers with young children from infancy through kindergarten. MOPS is a relevant and caring network, making moms better moms through trusted resources and relationships. MOMSnext includes mothers of school-age children in our programming.

Childcare: The nursery staff is eager to help make the transition from home to childcare smooth for you and your children. Childcare is offered to women attending the meeting, and offers professional, loving care for infants – 2 year olds. Our childcare providers have background checks and training. We ask that you please be sure all bags, cups, snack containers and bottles, etc… are labeled. Pagers are available.
The MOPPETS program for potty trained kids ages 3 – 5 features activities planned to contribute to your children’s social, physical and creative development, and spiritual enrichment. A snack is provided in the MOPPETS program, so please make the coordinator aware of any special circumstances. Moms are contacted by pager if a child has a special need during the morning. We regret we cannot accommodate children who are ill, or those whose mothers are not in attendance.
Parking & Entrance: Adequate free parking is available at First Presbyterian in our main lot. If you have children to check in and drop off enter First Presbyterian through the elevator entrance located under the portico BEHIND the church in the circular driveway. Go straight into the main hallway on the ground floor to room 107A to check in/drop off infants and children for childcare. Children attending the MOPPETS program can be dropped off in Fellowship Hall on the 2nd floor. Moms gather on the 3rd floor in Room 332. Use the elevator to easily get to these destinations with strollers, etc…
We offer more for moms: family & couple events, book club, play dates, mom’s night out, service projects, walking groups, cookbook club, and holiday parties.
